Thinking of moving agencies? Five questions to ask first

If you are an agent considering a move, the pitch you hear is usually about splits and freedom. Those matter, but they are not what decides whether your next year is better than your last. The operating model behind the offer is what decides that.

Before you commit, five questions are worth asking.

First, where do listings actually come from? A promise of leads is not the same as a working seller pipeline you can see.

Second, who carries the admin? Contract progression and database work either get done for you or they eat your selling time.

Third, how is the split structured, and does it reward growth? A number that never moves is a ceiling.

Fourth, is the move confidential? A serious agency can have this conversation without your current employer hearing about it.

Fifth, what happens in your first ninety days? The answer tells you whether there is a real plan or just a desk.

If those are the questions on your mind, that is exactly the conversation we keep private and low pressure. No commitment, just a straight answer to each.
